By state law, in order to work directly with any victim of domestic violence, volunteers must be certified as a domestic violence counselor by successfully completing a course that includes classroom and experiential training, followed by an exam. Certification training is not needed to volunteer to help with special events and other fund and friend raising efforts. For more information, click HERE.

We do not currently need any volunteers for our shelter or hotline. If, however, you are interested in hosting fund-raising events (such as tag sales, teas, plant or wreath selling) or helping on major events, please call 203.865.1957 and ask for Sue.
